Prof was a true legend, who took such a passion in the teaching of his trainees and was an endless source of wisdom and knowledge. Always generous with his time, and with his cheeky sense of humour, I so enjoyed sitting in the hyperbaric unit with him, having a coffee and chatting about medicine and life. Anaesthetics and Hyperbaric trainees across Australia have lost a one-of-a-kind hero; I am sure we are all better colleagues, doctors, and people for having learnt from his example.
