Michael Bennett has suddenly passed away. A great scientist has suddenly left us. Mike was a key figure in hyperbaric medicine research in a global scale. A scientist with great insight and seriousness, combined with great humor and empathy. Amid of our grief over the loss of a great scientist, it is important to remember that Mike's scientific work will live on among us. A work our scientific community will benefit from for many years to come. My deepest thoughts go to his wife, close family, and friends.
