Prof Mike Bennett was the guest speaker at the 1st AHDMA ASM and subsequently also the guest speaker for the 10th anniversary ASM. Mike has been a great friend and supporter of the society. He will always be remembered for his excellent lectures and vast knowledge. Personally, I first knew Mike as my teacher at HMAS Penguin course in 2003. I also learned a lot from him when I did my attachment at POWH after the penguin course. Mike is a wonderful teacher, scientist par excellence and an inspiration to everybody. He will forever be remembered. Heartfelt condolences from all of us. A great loss to the diving and hyperbaric world.
