Like many, I knew of Mike before I ever met him. He was larger than life, and his contributions to the field of hyperbarics are invaluable. What really impressed me about him, though, was his manner. He always took the time to talk to people and make them feel seen. He was generous with his time and knowledge, and I consider myself privileged to have gotten to share some of it.
